The Platform for Intercultural Europe* is a network that connects the work of grass-roots practitioners, associations, public bodies and European institutions, forming strong links from practice to policy and back again. In this way we aim to strengthen the work of and support for all those who work towards intercultural dialogue in Europe.

The Platform is a civil society initiative developed as a response to the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue in 2008. It is supported by the European Cultural Foundation andCulture Action Europe, and financed by the Network of European Foundations and the European Union through the EU Culture Programme.
