Het was swingen geblazen. Onder de bezielende leiding van Jörgen Raymann gaf de speciaal voor SAIL samengestelde Dansi! Big Band een spetterend en kleurrijk optreden. Zij brachten oude, bekende nummers ten gehore, die een nieuw jasje waren gestoken zoals de Love Boat, Alfonsia El Mar en Het Kleine Cafe aan de haven. Tientallen Salsa-, Merengue-, moderne dans-, Zouk- en Sambadansers begeleiden de diva’s en zweepten het publiek op.
Bijzonder was dat leerlingen van diverse dansscholen tussen het publiek dansten. Voor degene die nog enig schroom hadden, was dat het laatste zetje wat ze nodig hadden om ‘swingend ten onder te gaan.

De weergoden waren ons niet gunstig gezind, maar het enthousiaste publiek stroomde in meer dan verwachte getalen de zaal in. Binnen no-time was het afgeladen en konden we van start.

De dames Lies, Kirsten en Isah hebben ons een mooi programma voorgeschoteld.

Orville Breeveld presenteerde talenten van het Conservatorium en Crea met zijn onverlaten energie.

Yori, Rakel, Sim, Hanneke, Sophie en natuurlijk Jenny Lane streelde al onze zintuigen van begin tot smakelijk eind.

Teema is an Arabic Aritst living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands At a young age her passion was music.  She attended the Music school of Amsterdam at the age of 11,where she sang in a band and was one of the vocalist of the Gospel world choir. In her teenage years she and her best friend formed the R&B group Damez. They recorded several of tracks and performed at several festivals in Europe/Canada.

After a couple of years having experience with the R&B music and the group, she decided to start to sing Arabic music and launch a career within the Arabic music industry. Teema’s first Arabic song ‘Habib Heany” in Egypt was composed by Esam Karika. Teema’s first Middle-East/North-Africa released song is “Arabic Vibe 2007″the song was released by the Record label Nojoom Music Dubai(Nojoom TV) on the Compilation Cd ‘ Mahrajaan nojoom 3. ‘Arabic Vibe’ is written by Teema and produced by Duane Summers(Miami,US) Teema just released her first Single/Video ‘Tiggy Tiggy’ feat Dj Idriss. This song is hitting the charts across the Arab Nation!! The song is available worlwide on the EMI Compilation CD ‘Sunshine Arabia 09 and “Yalla Dance 4″ NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW NEW New summer video release ‘DIDI’ of Teema with the Nr 1 Iranian Female Mc ‘Ellie Jokar’ and the Nr 1 Arabic female MC ‘Bad Brya’The song and the video was recorded in Copenhagen,Denmark.The song is in Persian(Ellie),Moroccan(Bad Brya) and Egyption(Teema) Video can be seen now on several Arabic TV Stations such as MTV Arabia,Melody TV,Mazzika TV and Zoom T.
